Cercarbono’s 2024 annual report presents a year of significant growth and diversification. The standard registered 174 projects across 16 countries, completed 37 certification processes, and surpassed 23 million tonnes of CO2e eligible for market transactions. Key milestones include formal recognition within Chile’s Green Tax compensation system, the registry of the first project under the Biodiversity Certification Programme, and integration into S&P Global Commodity Insights’ Meta Registry. The report reflects an organisation that grew in scale while deepening its technical integrity and institutional reach.
