Cercarbono participated in the 4th Colombia climate summit, contributing to the strengthening of carbon markets in Latin America

The event held in the city of Medellin, Colombia, made it possible to strengthen the carbon market in Latin America, as well as our standard.

On August 24, 25 and 26, Cercarbono actively participated in the 4th Colombia and Latin America Climate Summit, an event that brought together more than 700 experts from the public and private sectors of Colombia and Latin America who are committed to mitigation of climate change through carbon markets.

Cercarbono updated its Protocol for Voluntary Carbon Certification

With the aim of reinforcing the quality of the Program to certify voluntary climate change mitigation projects on any continent, under different Greenhouse Gas emission compensation schemes, and increase the recognition of its credits in international carbon markets, during 2022, Cercarbono worked on updating the new version 4.1 of the «Protocol for Voluntary Carbon Certification».

We will participate in the Colombia and Latin America Climate Summit.
