


WHAT IS THE CERCARBONO'S BIODIVERSITY CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME?
The Cercarbono Biodiversity Certification Programme aims to drive an effective response to the current biodiversity crisis.
Its comprehensive approach encompasses various interventions and levels of biodiversity, prioritizing the swift implementation of on-the-ground actions. Additionally, it maintains the flexibility needed to refine its parameters and rules over time by incorporating lessons learned.
Independent Experts Panel
The Cercarbono Biodiversity Programme has a highly qualified Expert Panel whose role is to validate and verify the projects submitted.
This panel is made up of a diverse group of specialists with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, remote sensing and conservation finance.
All panel members have signed a Collaboration Agreement with Cercarbon that ensures their independence and declares no conflict of interest with any project. In addition, the panelists will enter into agreements with project developers, ensuring a transparent and objective review process.
